Two battery storage systems with a combined 4.5 MW of power and 14 MWh of capacity are being built at the rooftop PV site in Wittstock/Dosse.
The green-power storage belongs to the rooftop system: it takes in solar power and releases it in the evening and at night. The grid-power storage charges from the grid and earns revenue on the power and balancing markets.
